Letterbook of George Schall, 1868-1873, 1909
The bulk of the letters in the book are in the date range 1868-1873 and appear to have been written by George Schall. The handwriting, and slight bleed from the ink, make some of the letters slightly illegible.The index included at the front of the book provides detail about each letter on the corresponding numbered page. An additional four or five letters, mostly typed, were inserted at the back of the book, signed by John Schall, dated 1909, and are not included in the index.
