This folder contains a wide variety of materials which seem to be related to a reactivation of the Society. Most of the documents are related to protests and medical intervention in the Vietnam War.

This folder focuses on alternative service for conscientious objectors. Included are lists of opportunities for work in approvied agencies in both the United States and in other countries. Additionally, there is correspondence re: conscientious objector physicians being asked to served at specific agencies or organizations.

Letter from the editor of The American Friend thanking Dr. William Plummer for the letter with "very interesting news about the Friends Medical Society"

Primarily consists of correspondence between various members of the AFSC and the Friends Medical Society. Most commonly is correspondence re: a request for placement of medical personnel in a specific location/job, but this folder also includes a summary of staff of the AFSC titled "Staff Placements 2/1/57-1/31/58" and a number of documents related to the conscription process and changes to the Draft Act
