Includes minutes from meetings of the Friends Medical Society executive committee, correspondence re: the logistics of the meetings of the executive committee and the future of the Society, and applications for membership.

Correspondence with A.J. Muste, member of the Fellowship of Reconciliation re: the possibility of the creation of a United States counterpart for the Medical Association for the Prevention of War in Britain.

This folder includes a wide range of financial documents of the Friends Medical Society: receipts, vouchers, and reports on specific purchases and the larger financail state of the Society. Most of the purchases were for paper, printing, or other supplies for correspondence with members. John Cobb and Jane Westover are the most prominent correspondents.

Primarily includes correspsondence about possible involvement of members of the Friends Medical Society with the Friends Africa Mission Hospital in Kenya and a meeting between members and one of the lead doctors at the hospital Dr. Rothe. Also includes a report by Jonathan Rhoads, dated May 25, 1955, titled, "Report on a Journey to South Africa" and some receipts for donations to the American Friends Board of Missions.
