Scope and Contents This grade book contains marks of the 39 students in the Class of 1845. The book is written in ink and pencil, though many of the pencil markings have faded. The students received a grade from 1 through 10 each week of class, and their final grade is an average of these grades. The grades are documented in grids, where each column is a week in class and each row a student. The student's grades for that week are documented in the grids.
