Joshua Spooner business records, 1834-1855
Scope and Contents
Accounting ledger containing dated sales transactions. Transactions date from 1842 to 1844.Many pages throughout book have been removed. Much of the book remains empty. Ten pages in front of book contain pasted in newspaper scraps on top of account records. Several pages in back used for handwriting and signature practice, pen drawings of profiles and a ship. Inside cover labeled "Joshua Spooner, Blotter Memorandum, Endorsements, etc., etc., commencing July 1st 1852." Book contains pressed leaves.
