Charlotte Isabelle Claflin papers
A member of Bryn Mawr's class of 1911, Charlotte Claflin had a 47-year career in social work. Her collection, which ranges from 1870-1964, consists of personal and published writings, newspaper clippings, essays, poetry, presentations, book reviews, photographs, letters, and bibliographic material.

Dr. Hermann Collitz was a professor of Philology and German, author, and editor of the American Journal of Philology and The Journal of English and German Philology. The Hermann Collitz Papers, which ranges from 1869-1913, contains Collitz’ personal correspondence and other miscellaneous papers.
Louise Congdon (Balmer) scrapbook
Louise Congdon spent her freshman year at Northwestern University, and graduated from Bryn Mawr wtih mahors in both French and Latin. She later moved to La Jolla, California, and in 1926 founded what is now La Jolla County Day School. The Louise Congdon scrapbook houses the Congdon's college scrapbook. The scrapbook covers the years 1904-1908, and contains characteristic Bryn Mawr memorabilia: programs, invitations, BMC-related clippings, some SGA-related materials, etc.
Elizabeth Congdon (Barron) scrapbook
Elizabeth Congdon graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1902. She was a passionate horticulturalist and directed Food Conservation and Victory Garden efforts in Alleghany County, Pennsylvania during both world wars. The Elizabeth Congdon scrapbook collection houses Congdon's two scrapbooks. The scrapbooks, which cover 1898-1901 and 1901-1902 respectively, document Congdon’s social life at Bryn Mawr, as well as many off-campus events.
Joseph Conrad collection
Joseph Conrad (1857-1924), a novelist and short story writer, was born Jozef Konrad Teodor Korzeniowski in Berdichev, Ukraine, and became a British citizen in 1886. Best known for his short story "Heart of Darkness" (1902), Conrad also wrote a number of novels on his travels. The collection includes letters from Conrad and third party letters, as well as three corrected typescript drafts.

The Conversational Club of Norristown is a women’s education club founded in 1885 that continues to meet today whose purpose is the “Study of History, Literature, and Art, and the promotion of intelligent thought and conversation.” The collection of the club’s papers consists of records of the meetings and activities of the club from 1885 to 2013 primarily in the forms of minutes, programs, correspondence, and other sources collected by the club.
