Abstract Elizabeth Fauvre was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1919 in Languages (French, Spanish, and Italian). She married R. Wynn S. Owen and had two children. She was active in civic organizations throughout her adult life and was a member of the Sewing Club for over 50 years.
