Scope and Contents
Arranged alphabetically. Concerns various library administrative and policy issues, reference letters, ad acknowledgements to donors of gifts of books, manuscripts, and artificats. William I. Hull was Librarian until his death in 1939 and Frederick B. Tolles succeeded him in 1941. E. Virginia Walker and Dorothy G. Harris were Assistant Librarians, and both served as Acting Librarians during long periods of leave granted to the Librarians.
