In 1929, ALS thanking Ferris for donation of letter from Joseph Turner to Samuel Bettle, 1828, though Hannah Yardley, with typed carbon of Ferris's reply. Thanks for donations to Friends Historical Library in 1934 and typed carbon from Ferris in appreciation of poem by Hayes.
