Scope and Contents
Nelson transfers to University of Michigan in January to do physics research with infra-red spectroscopy. In April, he proposed to Marian Haines Darnell. They had met in Philadelphia when he was part of the China Unit and started dating in Dec. 1944. Marian sends the Fuson family a letter with details of a marriage service under the care of Friends. They were married June 23 at Moorestown Meeting, N.J.
