Teaching Subject Files

 Sub-Series

Scope and Contents

Series contains an alphabetical file of subjects, dealing primarily with English literature. The individual folders are comprised of teaching outlines, schedules, and lecture notes of Frank Aydelotte while teaching at Indiana University and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Most of this material is in rough form, undated, indecipherable, and impossible to identify fully. Also included at the end of the series are the notecards for Frank Aydelotte's thesis, written while he was a student at Oxford University; this material was later expanded into Elizabethan Rogues and Vagabonds.
