Describes the birth of Martha "Pattie" Mott Lord's daughter Ellen Lord De Schweinitz (1855-1897). Briefly discusses the schooling of her niece Ellen Wright, who may attend the "Darby School" (the Sharon Female Boarding School). Is visiting both Orthodox and Hicksite Friends in the hope of inducing action against Judge Kane for his conduct in Passmore Williamson's legal case. Anne Warren Weston has written to ask her to contribute an article to the Liberty Bell and also proposes having a Meeting in Weymouth.
