4 pages. Written over a both a letter and circular by Rev. J. O. Barrett. Lucretia Mott talks of the distinction between the wealthy and the poor and says, "The cooperative trade unions are going to affect something to a better state of society." She also discusses a sermon of Robert Collyer on "healing and hurting shadows" and talks about some of his "discourses." She expresses displeasure in Hannah Haydock becoming an increasingly "sectarian" Quaker and "leaning to the conservative side." She also talks about recent activities of several family members.
