4 pages. Dated 1869-04-03. Lucretia Mott letter to Martha Coffin Wright. Written from Roadside. Partially written over a letter from Susan B. Anthony to Lucretia Mott (A00182173_SBA). Lucretia Mott writes that she is unsure whether or not she will go to Boston for the "the anniversary." She talks about her health and recent activities of family members and friends.

2 pages. Dated 1869. Susan B. Anthony letter to Lucretia Mott . Susan B. Anthony writes that Elizabeth Cady Stanton advised her to send Lucretia "a roll of the calls" and ask her to get Martha (likely Wright) or Mrs. Davis to "solicit good and short letters from good people she thinks worthy the honor of being asked." She writes that at the "Press dinner Saturday night," the women "were paying their own bills and the men's they invited too." Says, "Our equal rights machinery seems now all harmonious." She has urged Mrs. Moore and Miss Decker of Manchester, England to send delegates over (for the 1869 convention of the American Equal Rights Association).
