Edward Davis is going with Robert Purvis to the Colored Convention in Washington and will then stay for the Women's Convention and assist Mrs. Hooker (Isabella Beecher Hooker). Partially written over a printed invitation from Elizabeth Morris to attend the general meeting of the women's branch of the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
