4 pages. Written from Roadside. Lucretia Mott is glad that Martha Lord's back is better and encourages her to write letters to her "Abbott-Yarnall cousins." She describes recent visits with family and friends, including her brother-in-law, Richard Mott. She also discusses the "Orthodox Fair." Partially written over a letter on "Central Woman Suffrage Committee" stationery dated March 13, 1872, from C. N. Douglass to Lucretia Mott; Douglass asks permission to use Mott's name in a circular regarding a tribute to reformer Josephine Griffing.
