Lucretia Mott discusses the sudden death of Norwood Hallowell's "hired girl" from heart disease (Norwood Hallowell was the brother of Lucretia's grandson-in-law Richard Hallowell), and how Lucretia's granddaughter Anna Davis Hallowell was the one who discovered her dead body. She also discusses having tea with Thomas and Martha Mellor and Mary M. Thomas.
