Scope and Contents

Eugene Lang recorded his thoughts during the course of a business trip he took as Vice President of the Heli-Coil Corporation from August 18, 1952 and October 11, 1952. In Japan, China, India, and other locales, Lang visited cultural attractions as well as factories and corporate headquarters (including, for example, Toyota). His commentary is mostly focused on local culture, tourism, and cultural difference, but he also write a bit about the companies he visits and international differences in consumer and business practices.
