Scope and Contents
The scrapbook contains typed copies of the reminiscences of Matilda Price of her childhood and residence in New Harmony with an appendix by her husband, Philip M. Price, Indiana; correspondence and reminiscences of James M. Price on his family history, and his research on New Harmony. It includes typed excerpts from the New Harmony Gazette, 1826, typed excerpts from the letters of Philip and Rachel Price concerning their reaction to son Philip's removal to New Harmony, and letters sent and received by James Price concerning the New Harmony experiment.

Items are pasted into a large account book, Register of Policies issued by the Provident Life and Trust Company, which was disassembled for photocopying.
