Handwritten letter to his father-in-law. Isaac Horner, member of Chesterfield Monthly Meeting, married Eleanor Bowne, daughter of Samuel and Mary Bowne of Flushing, in 1718. She transferred her membership to Chesterfield Monthly Meeting the following year. Isaac wrote about his land purchases and mentioned that there had been many fatalities from illness in the area.
