The daughters of William P. and Emma Bancroft, Sarah Bancroft Clarkand Lucy Bancroft Gillett, were executors of their parents' estates and served as long-distance Trustees. Sarah's son Stephen Clark (1913-2011) was named a Trustee in 1938. An executive in the C and J. Clark Ldt. until his retirement, he served as president of the Woodlawn Trustees from 1975- 19. In 1978 he transferred his membership in Mid-Somerset Meeting, England, to Wilmington Monthly Meeting.
