The collection is largely composed of financial, legal and real estate documents relating to the Malin property in Upper Providence, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Randall Malin of Cheshire, England, purchased 250 acres from William Penn in 1681. The bulk of the papers are related to the tenure of his grandson William Malin (1727-1803).
