Collections of still photographic types, including paper prints, cased photographs, glass plates, and slides. Historically, when processing a collection, FHL staff have often removed the photographs from the manuscript portion (e.g. RG4 organizational records or RG5 family or personal papers) and stored them as an associated PA photographs collection. FHL staff have also assembled alphabetical files by topic, such as the Meetinghouse Picture File.

Jenkins (1864-1951) was a prominent Quaker who was involved with Green Street Monthly Meeting, the American Friends Service Committee, the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (1919-1934), and Friends Intelligencer. The John family is a Quaker family of Uwchlan and Shamokin Valley in Pennsylvania. Some of the family later moved to Illinois but continued to be active in Friends organizations. This collection consists primarily of card photos of the John family, along with some prints and negatives of scenes.

May Virginia Bassett Little photograph albums

Overview In the 1980s, May Virginia Bassett Little (1913-1994) created a series of family scrapbooks accompanied by short memoirs and excerpts from her diaries. Her father was a birthright Quaker, and the family had deep roots in Swarthmore College and the Borough of Swarthmore. Her husband, Ralph V. Little, Jr., (1909-2001), also was raised in Swarthmore. Thomas Livezey Laughlin (1873-1946), an Ohio physician and a Quaker, was the son of George and Anna Louise Laughlin. His son, Thomas L. Laughlin Jr. (1907-1973) was also a medical doctor. This collection of photographs depicts family members, scenery (Livezey home, hunting, etc.), and vacation photos including international travel.

The Meeting School was an experimental, co-educational Quaker farm school located in Rindge, N.H. It was founded in 1957 and closed in 2011.
