Collections of still photographic types, including paper prints, cased photographs, glass plates, and slides. Historically, when processing a collection, FHL staff have often removed the photographs from the manuscript portion (e.g. RG4 organizational records or RG5 family or personal papers) and stored them as an associated PA photographs collection. FHL staff have also assembled alphabetical files by topic, such as the Meetinghouse Picture File.

Friends General Conference slide show on "George Fox Country"

Abstract

The Audio-Visual Subcommittee of the Religious Education Committee of the Friends General Conference assembled this slide collection alongside a script. The purpose, according to the introduction, is "to help viewers feel better acquainted with George Fox, the period in which he lived, and to bring alive for present day Friends the feel of theh country where Quakerism began." This collection contains slides related to George Fox's life and surroundings and an accompanying script.

Peter Dechert photographs of Swarthmore College

Peter Dechert Associates, a photography company, took thousands of photographs of schools, colleges, and universities between 1952 and 1968. One of these colleges was Swarthmore College. The Roberts family were Quakers from Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. They, including Caroline Roberts, were involved in Gwynedd Friends Meeting. This collection contains photographs from a Caroline Roberts scrapbook, which has been dismantled and placed in envelopes. The pictures include portraits of Roberts family members, and family homes.

Abstract Rosalie Stork Regen (1909-1993) was a Quaker author and playwright who joined the Rahway and Plainfield Monthly Meeting in 1941. She was the daughter of Charles Wharton Stork and Elisabeth von Pausinger Stork. An active member of the Society of Friends, Rosalie taught First Day School and visited Quakers all over the world. Pendle Hill photographs

Pendle Hill is a Quaker study center located in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. This collection contains mainly color photographs from 1997 and 1998. These photos are of the Quaker Peace Roundtable, with photographs by Marge Shier and possibly held at Swarthmore meeting house, along with the Conference on Friends and the Vietnam War, 2000, with photographs by Wilmer Tjossem.
