Willets-Lapham family photographs
Scattergood Hostel and Scattergood Friends School photographs
Scattergood Friends School opened in Iowa in 1890. The school closed during the Great Depression, and was repurposed during World War II as Scattergood Hostel to acclimate refugees from Europe. In 1944, it reopened as a school and remains open today. The bulk of this collection is photographs of Scattergood Refugee Hostel, but there are also photographs of pre-war and post-war Scattergood Friends School.
Second General Conference of the Evangelical Friends Alliance photographs
The Evangelical Friends Alliance was formed in 1965 as an association of four evangelical Quaker groups. This collection consists of about a dozen black and white photographs from the Second General Conference of the Evangelical Friends Alliance, held July 23-27 1975, at George Fox College in Newberg, Oregon. The theme was “Game Plan for the Fourth Quarter… A World-Wide Strategy for Friends in the Final 25 Years of the Twentieth Century”
Livezey-Laughlin family photographs
Thomas Livezey Laughlin (1873-1946), an Ohio physician and a Quaker, was the son of George and Anna Louise Laughlin. His son, Thomas L. Laughlin Jr. (1907-1973) was also a medical doctor. This collection of photographs depicts family members, scenery (Livezey home, hunting, etc.), and vacation photos including international travel.
Northwest Yearly Meeting photographs
Northwest Yearly Meeting is the central organizing body for Quaker meetings in the Oregon/Washington area. This collection contains loose black and white photographs of people and places connected to Northwest Yearly Meeting.

A. Keith and Ruth Smiley were Quakers active in the Mohonk area. This collection consists of slides they took on their travels to England, Africa, and other sites.
Frances Bradshaw Blanshard photographs
Frances Bradshaw Blanshard attended Smith College and later became dean of women at Swarthmore College. She also had ties to Yale University, where her husband (Brand Blanshard) was a philosophy professor. This collection largely consists of portraits of Frances Blanshard, with some photographs of family members.
