This collection includes records and publications from the Black Studies Program at Swarthmore College. This includes multiple posters for speakers and events hosted by the Black Studies Program and a copy of Stayed on Freedom: reflections on SNCC at 50.

The collection is divided into two series: 1) Data, primarily surveys and data sheets, ranging in topic from the facilities and programs at Swarthmore College to the students attending and financial aid; 2) Reports, especially accreditation reports and self-studies.

This collection includes materials related to the earlier years of the Peace and Conflict Studies program at Swarthmore College. This includes concentration proposls, grant applications, course materials, syllabus, academic papers, committee correspondence, correspondence related to faculty hiring.
