Swarthmore College Admissions and Financial Aid records
In the early years of Swarthmore College, applicants applied directly to the College President and the cost of attendance was $350 per year. In the 21st century, a separately staffed Admissions Office and an Office of Financial Aid exist to support these functions. This small collection, dating from 1869 to 2003, includes admissions blanks, lists of applicants, reports, and other materials that document Swarthmore's admissions and financial aid policies and procedures.

From an initial set of four standing committees of the faculty in 1881, the set of standing and ad-hoc committees of the faculty and staff at Swarthmore College has grown to include dozens of committees. The Swarthmore College faculty and staff committees records, circa 1900-2015, include committee meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, and related documents, arranged alphabetically by committee name.

Swarthmore College Meetings of the Faculty Records
This series includes the minutes and miscellaneous records of the Faculty, in both original paper format and microfilm. The minutes for the first meeting covered in Vol. 1, for 3rd mo. 5, 1877, start with approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, indicating that there is probably a missing volume.

Swarthmore College. Men's Judiciary Committee
The Men's Judiciary Committee was established at Swarthmore College during the 1951-1952 academic year as a committee selected by the Men's Executive Committee to have jurisdiction over cases in which male undergraduates violated college rules in the dormitories or campus, with the exception of in the fraternity lodges. This collection contains the files of the Committee for the years 1952-1963.

The Provost is the chief academic officer of the college and is responsible for the faculty and the curriculum. Professor Charles A. Gilbert was appointed the first Provost of Swarthmore College in 1969.
