Phi Psi (Swarthmore College) Records
Contains the records of Phi Kappa Psi, Phi Omicron Psi, and Phi Psi from 1889 to 1967, with gaps in some series. Now a local fraternity at Swarthmore College, Phi Psi began as Pennsylvania Kappa, a chapter of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Pennsylvania Kappa was established in 1889 and was a chapter of Phi Kappa Psi until 1963.
Phi Sigma Kappa, Phi Chapter Records
The Phi Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa was established at Swarthmore College in 1906. By 1991, it was abolished, a victim of mounting debt and student disinterest. The collection includes correspondence, 1956-1957, concerning the Chapter's pledging of an African American, the first at the College; other correspondence mostly concerning the mounting debt; and agreements and leases.
Swarthmore Phoenix Records
The Swarthmore Phoenix, Swarthmore College's newspaper, began as a monthly publication in 1881. This small collection contains an account book, 1884-1899, and some miscellaneous papers, including letters to the editor concerning the abolishment of women's fraternities in 1933 and a scrapbook about a 1953 prank article that asserted Adlai Stevenson had accepted the position of Swarthmore College President.
Swarthmore College Photograph Albums
This collection contains 31 photograph albums, dating from approximately 1876 to 1975, that document Swarthmore College social life and campus views. Various sources donated the material, and the Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College made an artifical collection in 3/2005 that combined all the photos into one group.

This collection consists of photographs of Swarthmore College from the time of the College's founding into the 21st century. College buildings, students, alumni, employees, activities, events, and other subjects are depicted. Photographs collected by the Friends Historical Library from various sources internal and external to the College.

Pi Beta Phi, Pennsylvania Alpha Chapter (Swarthmore College) song books
This collection consists of two song books used by Pi Beta Phi, Pennsylvania Alpha Chapter. Pi Beta Phi was the second sorority to maintain a chapter at Swarthmore College (est. 1892) and the largest sorority on campus in 1932, just before the college abolished sororities in 1933.
Pi Sigma Society Records
The collection contains the records, 1905-1912, of Pi Sigma Fraternity of Swarthmore College. The fraternity was founded in 1905 and in 1912 became the Alpha Beta Chapter of Delta Gamma, the national women's fraternity.

Swarthmore College preparatory department student file
At its inception, Swarthmore College included a large preparatory department, but it began to play a secondary role by the early 1880s. In 1893, the preparatory division separated from the College and continued as a private institution, Swarthmore Preparatory School. This collection contains a card file of students who attended the Swarthmore College Preparatory School.
