John T. Diebold scrapbooks
The American businessman John T. Diebold, founder of the Diebold Group, Inc. and author of the management classic Automation, was a graduate of Swarthmore College (class of 1949). This collection consists of 89 scrapbooks carefully constructed by Diebold to document his life and the major events of his business career and personal life.

This collection consists of photographs of Swarthmore College faculty, staff, administrators, and Board Members, from the time of the College's founding into the 21st century. Photographs collected by the Friends Historical Library from various sources internal and external to the College.
Swarthmore College Photograph Albums
This collection contains 31 photograph albums, dating from approximately 1876 to 1975, that document Swarthmore College social life and campus views. Various sources donated the material, and the Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College made an artifical collection in 3/2005 that combined all the photos into one group.

Trotter Hall Photographs
This collection consists of 15 mounted black and white photographs of scenes in Trotter Hall prior to renovation. Trotter Hall is an academic building on Swarthmore College's campus. It was renovated approximately in 1993.
Swarthmore College War Years Photographs
This collection consists of 2 boxes of black and white photographs, postcards, loose prints, contact sheets, and negative slides, dating from approximately 1943-1946. Items were donated by alumni for the College's War Years Reunion in 1993.
James H. Scheuer Photographs
Photographs of Representative James H. Scheuer, Class of 1942, his family, associates, and constituents. As a Member of Congress, Scheuer met many famous people and many ordinary people and took care to document these meetings. The result is thousands of contact sheets, prints, and negatives recording everything from high level meetings with world leaders to discussions on the street with district residents. This collection complements the papers Sheuer donated at the same time.
Swarthmore College Astronomy Department photographs
This collection, dating from 1905 to 1975, consists of astronomy images taken or collected by Swarthmore College Astronomy Department students and professors. Most of the images are on glassplates, but there are also some paper photographs. Images depict the college, eclipses, constellations, comets, and more.
