Swarthmore Rotary Club Records
The Swarthmore Rotary Club was organized April 1, 1937, and held its first luncheon on April 9th. It was chartered on April 26, 1937, with fifteen charter members. The Club's activities include supporting various charitable causes. It is active in the community with a web site at http://www.swarthmorerotary.org/
Woman's Club of Swarthmore records
This collection contains the records of the Woman's Club of Swarthore, founded in 1898. The Club offered women of the community a means of support and education, a place to meet and find common interests and nurtured the founding of a number of community organizations. The Club disbanded in 2002.
Swarthmore Borough Memorabilia Collection
The Swarthmore Historical Society was founded in 1988, and its collections are deposited in Friends Historical Library. The Memorabilia Collection is composed of objects donated by Swarthmore residents, largely athletic and business items.
Swarthmore Historical Society scrapbooks collection
Personal scrapbooks from various donors. They were compiled by students of the Mary Lyon and Swarthmore Preparative Schools and Swarthmore residents.
Swarthmore Co-op Collection
The collection contains photographs, clippings, historical research and related papers concerning the Consumers' Cooperative Association of Swarthmore, Inc., better known as the Swarthmore CO-OP. Located in Swarthmore, Pa., it was incorporated in 1937.
Swarthmore Schools Collection
The Swarthmore School District, Delaware County, Pa., was created in 1893 with the incorporation of the Borough of Swarthmore. This is an artificial collection, composed of records and memorabilia from various sources and organized by the staff of Friends Historical Library.
