Biographical / Historical

The Union Lyceum, established 1875, was a literary society whose membership consisted primarily of members of the Society of Friends in the Ambler and Gwynedd area of Montgomery County, Pa. The meetings were held in members' homes and consisted of readings, recitation, and criticism. It was disbanded in 1891 due to lack of members, but held a reunion program in 1900.
