Biographical / Historical
The Poets Circle began in 1918 when Mrs. Charles Joyce gathered a group of women at her home to read poetry. The group decided to meet regularly to share an appreciation for poetry, reading favorite and original poems. In 1993, the informal club celebrated its 75th anniversary.
