Abstract

This collection includes typescript and photostatic copies of letters and maps from the Rotch family papers, which were lent to Friends Historical Library for microfilming. Also included are a typescript copy of a 1906 editorial mentioning the Rotch family, and a clipping regarding Paul Cuffee.

Material relates to the Rotch family papers which were lent to Friends Library for microfilming and then the originals were deposited by the owner, Mrs. Horatio Wales, in the Massillon (Ohio) Public Library. The Massillon Public Library subsequently digitized their collection, making it available via http://massillonmemory.org/the-rotch-wales-papers and Ohio Memory.
