Biographical / Historical
The French War Victims Fund was established by members of New York Yearly Meeting (Orthodox) in 1870 to aid the French civilian victims of the Franco-Prussian War, working with Friends in London. William Wood was appointed to administer the account which was laid down in May 1871.
