Biographical / Historical
Valley Monthly Meeting in Strafford, Pennsylvania began in 1713 as an allowed meeting of Radnor Preparative Meeting. Valley became a Preparative Meeting in 1810. Shortly thereafter, during the split between Orthodox and Hicksite Quakers, Valley identified itself as Hicksite. Valley became a Monthly Meeting in 1936 under the Haverford Quarter.
