Tacke, 1953-1956
Eberhard Tacke was a German Quaker artist; in 1957, the Fusons attended German Yearly Meeting in Berlin and stayed with the Tackes. Eberhard, his wife Käte, and their children, Thomas and Angelika, maintained a correspondence with the Fusons. The children were pen pals when young.

The Tackes were displaced during WWII and imprisoned by the Allies in Austria. The Fusons maintained a friendship with them and visited them in 1957. Included in Marian Fuson’s explanation of their history.
