Letters from two Stockbridge peoples - Catherine Solomon and Peter Okasangtgue - thanking Josepth Clark for the return of four young women who had left Indian Country with Quakers in order to recieve a western education; as well as a letter of appreciation to the Quakers from a Native woman named Gracy Crosley. Richard Mott (1767-1856) was a distinguished Quaker minister from Mamaroneck. Gift of New York Yearly Meeting, 1997.
