This collection is part of Subject File #1. Box 1 of this collection includes materials on the peace movement (U.S.): general (circa 1910- ), "Peace Education and the Peace Movement Since 1815" manuscript by Clinton F. Fink (1979), "Pacifists' Search for a Negotiated Peace During the First World War; 1914-1917" manuscript by David S. Patterson (undated). Box 2 of this collection includes materials on the peace movement (foreign): "Revolutionary Syndicalism, Antimilitarism, and the Great War: The Cause of Alphonse Merrheim" manuscript by Nicholas Papayanis (1976), "Pacifism and Revolution: Bertrand Russell and Russia, 1914-1918" manuscript by unknown (June 1991), directories/lists of peace groups 1914 - and undated; "Guide to the American Left" (1970), "Boston People's Yellow Pages" (1980-1981 edition), and "1983 Handbook: Arms Control and Peace Organizations/Activities."
