The American Foundation propagandized in favor of American membership in the World Court. The foundation also maintained the American Peace Award (also known as the Bok Peace Prize, offered by Edward W. Bok for "the best practical plan by which the United States may cooperate with other nations to achieve and preserve the peace of the world."
