Biographical / Historical

The New Hampshire Peace Union established a peace headquarters to provide a clearinghouse for peace information, to educate for peace in schools, colleges, churches, and caravans. Affiliation with major peace organizations, such as the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, was proposed in correspondence between Agnes Ryan of the Union and Mildred Scott Olmsted of WILPF.
