Biographical / Historical
As stated in its Constitution, the Youth Committee's purpose was to unite the efforts of youth [ages 16-30] to abolish war by means of total disarmament and war resistance. Membership was open to all regardless of "race, creed, or color." The group was founded in Philadelphia. It had ceased by August 1938.
