Biographical / Historical
Omaha Action was a project of the Committee for Nonviolent Action; organized to protest Atlas missiles of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) bases around Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; Omaha Action's motto: "Nonviolence against Nuclear Missile Policy." Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska; chairman was Homer Jack; coordinators were Bradford Lyttle and A.J. Muste. Includes information about resisters who were imprisoned for committing civil disobedience.
