Northern California Service Board for Conscientious Objectors; formed in July 1941; provided counsel and assistance to men who chose to be conscientious objectors to the military draft in World War II; headquarters were located in Berkeley, California; Allen H. Barr was executive secretary, Robert F. Leavens was chairman; also raised funds for conscientious objectors in Civilian Public Service camps.
