Collection consists of materials about the 9th International Peace Research Association conference in Orillia, Ontario in 1981; peace research abstracts from the Peace Research Institute-Dundas; Russian language disarmament periodicals (photocopies), 1979-1981; United Nations arms control literature; and reference files on the antinuclear "freeze" movement, chemical and biological weapons, peace studies, women and military employment, and military spending.

Abstract Collected Document Groups (CDGs) are collections for which the Swarthmore College Peace Collection has only some material from the organizations and individuals, collected by various entities through the years. Includes material from Muller's visits to the USSR from 1968-1981; includes news clippings, a manuscript regarding his trips, 1968-1970, and his diary of his trips March 1980-Oct. 1981. The diary documents the beginnings of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, and Mueller's connections with Bernard Lown and Helen Caldicott.
