Scope and Contents
Written memorials of Friends were written by individuals and approved by their monthly, (quarterly) and Yearly meetings. The first publication of a selection of memorials was by the Meeting for Sufferings in 1814. New York Yearly Meeting continues to collect memorial minutes and deposit them on behalf of the constituent meetings, memorials are alphabetical by surname in each file.
Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research. Access is through microfilm, if available. Digital files are accessible to TriCollege accounts or on-campus users.
