Biographical / Historical
The Miles White Beneficial Society was incorporated in 1874 to administer a trust bequethed by a member of Baltimore Monthly Meeting (Orthodox). In 2011, Baltimore Yearly Meeting transitioned the MWBS to a "supporting organization" with MWBS Trustees still appointed by the Yearly Meeting's Nominating Committee, but no longer an active committee under its structure.
