Biographical / Historical
The Unity with Nature Committee was established as an ad hoc committee in 1987 and made a standing committee of the Yearly Meeting in 1989 to center ecological integrity in the faith and practice of the Yearly Meeting. 2021's Manual of Procedure places the Right Relationship of Animals Working Group under its care, and provides representatives to the Steering Committee for Quaker Earthcare Witness and the Friends Wilderness Center.
