Biographical / Historical
The Committee on Recorded Ministers was a part of the Orthodox Baltimore Yearly Meeting that continued when the meeting unified in 1968. It was renamed the Committee on Nurture and Recognition of Ministry in 1985 in part to recognize its expanded role in overseeing the program for Spiritual Formation. The Committee was folded into a reorganized Ministry & Pastoral Care Committee in 2001, and the Spiritual Formation charge continues as a working group within Ministry and Pastoral Care.
