Biographical / Historical
Hopewell Monthly Meeting was divided in 1781, leading to the establishment of Crooked Run Monthly Meeting in 3mo 1782. It met alternately at Crooked Run and Centre until the meeting was laid down in 5 mo 1807. Members were joined to Hopewell Monthly Meeting as Crooked Run Preparative Meeting, until that body was laid down in 10mo 1810.
