Included under Fairfax were Hopewell, Fairfax, Crooked Run, Westland, and Goose Creek meetings. During the Separation of 1828, Fairfax Quarterly Meeting affiliated with the Hicksite branch of Friends. It was laid down in 1951, and its members became part of the newly-established Potomac Quarterly Meeting (United).
