Biographical / Historical
Little Britain Preparative Meeting was established in 1749 by Nottingham Monthly Meeting. In 1804, the meeting joined with Eastland Preparative Meeting to form Little Britain Monthly Meeting. After the Separation of 1828, Orthodox Friends withdrew and were joined as a preparative meeting. Today the meeting at Wakefield is also known as Little Britain-Penn Hill.
